No I haven't, is it something you do in therapy, or alone? Lemme know how it goes?

I've heard about certain colors inducing moods (e.g., green is calming, right?). Is this sort of thing (but, obviously, more sophisticated) the notion behind the therapy?? How did you find out about it? What does orange do? --p

I see none of these colors have negative connotations. I've noticed that when I'm depressed I tend to decorate and buy clothes, etc., with dk blue. In fact, I see that as a sign that I might be slipping.
I'm decorating our new house with alot of reds and oranges; I guess that's a good thing, right?Marie

You are so right-I've always heard though that blues are supposed to be calming, etc... However, I personally think that each person responsds to colors in their own way. Like red-alot of people relate to it as 'energetic, sporty,' and whatnot. I hate it, I relate to it as an angry color.
Just my two cents worth> I see none of these colors have negative connotations. I've noticed that when I'm depressed I tend to decorate and buy clothes, etc., with dk blue. In fact, I see that as a sign that I might be slipping.

do you think it has to do with association? my parents' house (unhappy place) is full of browns, oranges, yellows...colors that i hate now, for the most part.
blue and purple have always been calming, i have a bracelet like that and i say it's because i'm a pisces
into hot pink accents right now because everyone else thinks that color is tacky, but it please me
my mother (bad relationship) always wore alot of bright colors and busy prints, lots of big gold jewelry...most of the clothes i pick are dark solids. and i like tiny silver jewelry...
green really does remind me of growth and nature, in school it pleased me to use my green backpack as a pillow for naps...
pastels remind me of nurseries, smelly diapers...ugh...mint candies and old people...

A tangential question: Is it just me, or is the Amazon.com box getting greener every day? Was it always green? Is that why I have this odd, new sense of "growth, abundance, vitality"? ;)

see the new new-age-y pic of Dr. Bob at the top of the screen? i think his use of the new green's "growth, abundance, and vitality" has something to do with his latent *need for attention.* (that is, regarding financial support for the sight.) :)
