the great breeding programme of new zealand

Posted by alexandra_k on August 7, 2020, at 12:46:40

that is medical admissions.

the children of the elite white minority picked out from High School to be given New Zealand Vice Chancellor Committtee scholarships to stay in the halls with the best residential tutors to be selected in to the professional practice degree programmes...

and the others who paid their way to join them, i suppose. i suppose that is the idea/l.

and in that way there's enough diversity to prevent the worst of the in-bred recessive traits that you get from the arranged marriages that the system is about, really.

and it perhaps wouldn't be so bad if we were selecting from more suitable applicants than there were places available. only they never really had the vision of what it was all supposed to be about... and the don't know it when they see it, even, which is what is not forgiveable, really.

i'm not sure how much Coronavirus is an excuse for governments to get rid of people they select to get rid of.

i guess it's a mechanism for doctors to select who they want to get rid of.

that was the message coming from new york at the peak.

just before the peak there was stuff about cervical smears and incredible invasive physical examinations -- up to the ovaries -- being conducted by groups of medical students in the name of learning when women had been anesthetised for unrelated procedures and without their consent.

there was this bit about how a couple people could make arrangements to arrive after that portion of the class so as not to be forced to participate or be party to it so as not to have that learning opportunity depending on how you view that practice. a way of arranging for them to meet requirements of the class and progress their qualifications without forcing the entire system to stop or change...

it provided a way, i suppose.

anyway... there was lots during the peak of the epidemic about how physicians were forced to choose who lives and who dies.

about how physicians choose who dies.

interesting...

see... i would choose for my patients to live. and sometimes that objective doesn't pan out for various reasons. they couldn't get a ventillator becuase one wasn't available for them.

but it's never a physicians job to choose who dies.

i get that now.

euthanasia.... isn't for the doctor to decide.

that's what new zealand just really don't do. the people who have power grabbed it. and they are not respectful of others as masters of themselves. everybody is trying ot control other people all of the time.

it's not about communalism or about how no man is an island. I'm not denying any of that. but this blatant disregard that people repeatedly and regularly show for teh wishes of people when we are talking about things going on with their body.

we really are a nation of abusers. physical. sexual.

force.

unthinking.

always: make us.

always this element of that.

'you can't make us'

and people just doing whatever they want thinking that the rules dno't apply to them.

that awful game.

The Education Act says that domestic students who have attained the age of 20 years are eligible to be enrolled in the programme they apply to.

The Education Act says that studnets who have not attained the age of 20 years may be considered eligible if... And then the council is given powers to select which of them are eligible so they can set additional hoops.

But I was eligible to be enrolled in Med since I turned 20.

The University Calendar attempts to obscure this. They go on and on and on abotu the various convoluted rules that the council has developed for the supposedly objective selection of which teenagers are eligible... And they seem to have 'special provision' to enrol adults only if they don't have Degrees...

To obscure the fact that adults (who have attained the age of 20) who have GPAs to plug into the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences rank order scoring algorithm...

Are to be rank order scored.

And places are to be offered on the basis of their rank order score.

So...

1) The University mis-advises studnets. It says they aren't eligible when they are. It says they need to do x and y and z to become eligible when that is false information.
2) They set me on a 'do this to becoem eligible' 7 years delay with $30,000 in fees to New Zealand Univerities charged ot my Student loan account.
3) It is not reasonable to expect teh University was ignorant of the Education Act.
4) It is negligent for the University to have mis-trained advisors.
5) My application was (wrongly) declined 2 years in a row teh reason cited 'ineligible'.
6) That decision was upheld on appeal. The Dean of teh Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences. THe Vice Chancellor of the Univesrity.
7) I specifically requested by email the grounds for 'ineligible' and the Vice Chancellor refused to respond. He just said I hadn't been selected.

8) Malice. I think it shows through in the responses I was getting fro the Faculty. THey question my mental health that I'm suggesting they act without integrity after they miscalcualte my GPA and say 'even if yo uwere eligible we wouldn't have selected you anyway'. Their Calendar regulations say the Faculty will publish selection criterion. THey did publish it. My GPA is 8.6. They removed it when I cited it to them. Removed it from the website. We have an 'oral traidtion' of laws, no doubt. Just whatever we want whenever we want...

I'm going to ask for 7 years loss of professional career. It's over 1 million dollars.

The University has deep pockets. The Vice Chancellor earns around 1/2 that in only 1 year. To say nothing of the bribes and facilitation payments.

The Vice Chancellor has discretion to oput things like this (wrong) right.

The Vice Chancellor declined to use their discretionary executive power to do the right thing. They want a judge to force them to do the right thing, I suppose. They want thsi to be documented so our internatinal investors know what kind of degree they are thinking about buying. What kind of in-breds they might not actually want their kids associating with.

What am I supposed to say, at this point?

They decide they will force me to do law. Because they decide.

Love what they've done with the place...

I guess it's like the guy who is provoking the military into shooting him. Except that here they intentionally train people to not have impulse control. So when they decide it's time for them to go (when they decide it's time for them to end their life) they can present to the Medical Practioners they chose and they know they will help them when it's their time to go.

That's what it's about really.

It's not sustainable.

That's the game.

That's the game of it really.

Shame about teh collateral damage. But they never did care about any of that.

Teh NZ public are wising up to the Medcial system in NZ being corrupt and disreputable.

There's a guy the other day giving an interview on camera. These kids are fooling around in the background pretending to fall off bikes and playing dead. On the grass. BMX's. The news presenters say (at the end of the interview) 'I hope those kids are okay, behind you' which was his cue to turn his head and look at them and pretend to look like he cares.

But of course he didnt' / doesn't. He gets paid. He doesn't need to look like he gives a sh*t.

And so...

Given the University is not a limited liability...
There's no limitation on the liability.
There's a specail class of people (20 year old domestic studnets) offered special protection (civil remedy) by being singled out as eligible by the education act.
so there is civil remedy available. parliament intended it.
irrespective of what the council f*ck*ng thinks.

the council have chosen to fill professional practice degree programmes with teenagers instead of developing universites as places for the edcuation of adults. they herd masses of over-croweded teenagers plying them with alcohol... sending them off to law firm work experience placements to be raped... law camp to be socially pressured to run around nude... medical work experience.... well that's early childhood education babysitting doctors kids now, i think...

that's professional practice in new zealand.

the books for the STEP examination... only a couple very very old ones in the library. i ordered a book at they sent it twice (long story) so I donated one and suggested they buy another. So now there is a current 'basic science' and 'organ systems'. because maaori kids, particularly, but all the kid, really, they don't want them learning the biochemistry and genetics stuff, particularly. but also pathology... they sort of intentionally try and swamp things by making it look like you need to try and memorise robbins and cotrain... because they don't want you to see how relatively simple it is from timely screening programs to biopsy sampling to timely removal...

i didn't use to believe in death wish but it's like our leaders are... well locusts i guess. possums how they strip a tree befor emoving on. our chief executives are like that. that's why they CE 2 or 3 or 4 things. sit on 2 district health boards... double the salary triple the salary quadruple the salary. and that's to say nothing of the bribes and facilitation payments.

he's having a cow becuase they don't let people working in hospitals wear facae masks. because they have other plans for the money.

If the new zealand public starts purchasing surgical masks for their own personal use they will expect them to be worn by hospital workers. then hospital workers will need to wear them. and change them frequently.

then the CEs can't earn half a mill every year anymore. from 1 of their 2 or 3 jobs. (I know they don't earn quite that much -- but they ean in excess of 100,000 per job, that's for sure).

I mean how much would I pay a CE to 'employ' me to work at a hospital so I could do surgery (maybe implant a little surgical mesh or something something a little something something) with no gloves and no mask and no washing of hands?

If I was that way inclined...

If I had that desire...

How much would I need to pay in New Zealand to make it happen?

?

?

Or... How much would they pay me to do that in front of a room full of medical studnets?

How much would they pay me to require medical studnets to do those things in front of me, in front of their class....

Maybe, say, before I sign them off.

Because people are actually sick like that.

And our professional standards people don't do their job.

There's suddenly been this realisation that nobody really knows what 'extradition' means.

I thought it was that Hong Kong was concerned that China would make false allegations about people so Hong Kong would be forced to turn them over to Chinese authorities and then China would imprison them and harvest their organs to sell to wealthy Americans.

So then I started to get excited that our Vice Chancellors might be held accountable for their crimes against international studnets and detained by the Chinese at the first available opportunity... I don't think New Zealand minded the organ harvesting. The Falon Gong collected up a list of people who signed up to saying they disapproved of that, and there were suprisingly few names, I thought...

But now Australia is extraditing a bunch of ours. Apparently they imprison them in Australia for their crimes committed while they are in Australia... And deport them after.

But now Australia extradited someone who was convicted of assualting a cop, I think. I think we are supposed to punish him ourself. Or not. I guess. If we want him to think that assaulting foreign cops is acceptable then... Maybe that's a good way for us to go??

Apparently one of our politicians has a brother in law who is on death row in the US. He gets extradited in a coffin I suppose.

We bitch about the cost to a taxpayer of keeping someone in prison for a year.

It's $100,000 apparently. Not sure how it's so expensive. You could pay me that and I guarantee I'll not do anything requirng imprisonment o fme...

You could imprison a VC or 2 or 3 or 4 or all and also pay someone a fair wage to do their job according to the rules and have change.

Have enough change to buy face masks for hospoital workers.

I don't know the details of his case so that wasn't fair of me.

They said that they didn't find him to have taken advantage of patients.

Except about the inappropriateness of him sending a photo of a newborn (presumably without the permission of the mother -- but it didn't actually say that).

People who are involved in risky sexual practices should have particular interest in maintaining their health. It's possible he was professional when he was working. He said his current clients haven't left -- but he wasn't getting new ones.

So I don't know.

But he paid 1 mill for court costs. Interesting.

The problem here is that the police don't follow the rules and so the prosecution can't get convictions.

They don't read people their rights so evidence is inadmissable.

They break into people's houses or interview minors and so the evidence is inadmissable.

There was something recently about the reading the rights sort of portion of breathalyzer test being changed from the test result 'may lead to your prosecution' when it said 'may lead to your conviction'. They said the in the police script wasn't the rogue decision of a teenager. It was clearly done by someone who thought they were being clever that they were undermining the drunk driving convictions by making them not able to be successfully prosecuted in the courts. That was an out they provided to someone in the know. A get out of jail free card.

Thats pretty corrupt, huh.

The University Calendar starts up with these fancy convoluted rules that the council and the New Zealand Vice Chancellors committee has decidided upon about all the special requirements and special hoops that teenagers need before the council will consdier them eligible. Because we have progressed from the council just sort of going 'this one and that one and the next one' and we try and make it look just a little like the council has written objective rules they plan to follow (yeah right it's just a pathetic attempt to cover up the fact that they do just sort of pick whomever they feel like).

And so there's all the special hoops and requirements they set for teenagers. But they make it sound like they are the 'normal' and the 'default' routes for entry.

Then they say that people who have attained the age of 20 years may be eligible in virtue of some of the above hoops being true of them. So they may have teh approval of their high school teacher, too, in the form of NZ high school credits. Or, they may have a previous degree, in which case they are eligible that way.

But that last paragraph is bollocks because the Education Act states that domestic studnets who have attained the age of 20 years are eligible in virtue of being domesetic studnets who have attained the age of 20 years.

These extra hoops or requirements to satisfy the council are limited in application. To teenagers.

The only sort of 'special entry' that they acknowledge as special entry to domestic adults is one for domestic adults who don't have previous degrees.

That's because the approved selection criterion for medicine involves them plugging grades into a GPA. So they think they are being clever in basically writing in their calendar that the special group of people parliament intentionally provided the education act to prevent... The council chooses or selects none of them. So none of the people who parliament intended to study professional practice degrees would be eligible to do it.

They think they are being clever.

_____

A couple employees of the Uni told me to appeal it. They said people sometimes get in from lawyers.

That tells me the council is malevolent in it's intent.

It knows what it's doing. It has changed it's decision previously when individuals have called it out.

I guess the police don't hand it over to the prosecutor when the drunk says 'you were supposed to say convictoin not prosecution!' or maybe the prosecutor is on teh take. LIkely that. Likely there. Likely the prosecutor is lazy and incompetent and lucky to have a lawyering job at all.

But his daddy was a policeman or something. So he gets to be prosecution for the police. But to hide the ineptitude they give themselves an out so he's required to prosecute nothing.

Seems likely.

This is why we don't have nice things. Good people can't function.

You spend your life clambering over crabs in the bucket.

What a waste of a life

So why didn't anybody say anything before?

People must have known.

It's disingenuous to think that the council did not know exactly what they were doing in writing their Calendar Regulations.

When you look at the laws of breach and statutory duty and negligence it really couldn't be any clearer of a case.

Their own regulations are in violation of the laws. THe laws provide express protection for domestic adults who are eligible to study what they apply to study.

Their own regulations say people must apply under a 'category' and there is no category for 'domestic studnets who have attained the age of 20 years who have completed a degree -- where that degree was completed more than 5 years ago' not for med. But they don't get to decide eligibility conditions for domestic adults. Whether they have a degree or not is irrelevnat. Where they go thteir degree is irrelevant. Whether they look like a juicy rape target it irrelevant.

The 5 year thing is about what has happened within the NZ education system in more recent yeas. As the corruption gains momentum as business as usual. As they have developed the 'third year bottleneck' which basically gives the council the discretion to alter grades in time to justify their decisions abuot selection.

So GPA isn't earned independently of the council, I mean to say. When it comes to Medical applicaitons they set a route whereby they say you are required to apply in the year you are enrolled in the programme... But they decide who gets interviewed really early so only first semester grades are back. So later in the year when they decide what grades to give people for their second semester courses they can alter them to render them 'ineligible'.

So they do just basically pick whomever they like.

And the reasons for why they like.... Well... There's just an endless stream of 'wrongful death' in the courts. And I keep hearing that students are supposed to write reflective essays or whatever because the motivational inspirers like to read all the SVU stories of the trauma the students are experiencing of all the things they're told they're required to do in the public hospitals... the obg exams etc... I mean... HOw many years of 'I don't think we should have done that we didn't get consents' do they want to hear? Trophy essays. That make them feel powerful. I guess. So their lives feel meaningful. I don't know. To normalise their own journey through medical school since they were picked out of High School 50+ years ago or whatever the f*ck.

ffs.

They were forced to develop their online teaching.

The things they swore black and blue could never never never be taught sufficiently well online.

The part of the course that involved them all being models for each other so they could practice having a grope and listening to hearts... The whole playing doctor thing... The whole getting to see the young love unfold... As the chosen ones pair off into their breeding pairs to brush up on their skills of physical exam...

It's pretty obvious.

And it's disingenuous.

Because you can't hear anything in that kind of an environment. So it's just a show... For the entertainment and delight of the teacher. For the boys in the class to get skills handling the girls.

That kind of a thing.

So they learn to get in there' with how they handle.

And the problem is...

That if you learn from teh books... Then you know what you are supposed to be doing in tihe sense that you can talk yourself through it.

SO you start by locating the sternum with your thumb. Then you run your thumb down counting the intercostal spaces...

Or whatever.

So you have the script. THen you follow the script.

You don't just sort of have a stab at things. Pick a place and lunge...

Anyway...

So they've started teaching physical examination skills online. Because classes were shut down.

Because the teachers were told: You can teach the kids online or the kids won't be taught at all. You can teach the kids online or I guess you don't take their money for the semester / year and you delay everyone's graduation by a year.

So they moved to teaching chunks of the medical curriculum online. That previously were just excuses for bums on seats wasting up hours and hours of their time so that there was no time left to learn purine synthesis. Or whatever.

So that's good. The move to online learning. The more of it that can be done wiht less personal contact the better. The more it's about knowledge and not emotional gratification and babysitting of elite chosen people who have all the money all the power and no real comprehension of why things feel so meaningless and empty iwth their lives...

Yeah...

I guess I look into what is offered by distance. Reputable courses I mean. It would be nice to visit for an internship kind of a up to a couple months visit. Yeah. That might be nice.

I don't know.

I wonder if they'll choose I die when our first wave arrives.

The ventillators are here apparently.

You are welcome.

Without informed consent there's just assault and rape.

And the kids aren't taught the script of how to ask for informed consent.

So for the physical examinations they aren't taught the scripts in how to ask the patients permission to do various things. Asked in the context of explaining why the doctor wants to know the outcome of whatever.

E.g., I would like to put this around that arm to check your blood pressure so we can check that your vascular system is alright.

I just made that up.

One of the books... Had lists. So you could find one of the freaking phrases that resonated with you. So you could memorise that one. Or incorporate that phrase or mini explanation into your script on how to do a physical exam providing information for consents along the way.

Yeah.

Otherwise it's just being groped by people who have no idea what or why. Which is...

Getting the way of our people having medical care. To be honest.

Apparently they are introducing self cervical smear testing. Apparently they are getting good results from it. Maybe it is self selecting. Maybe the women who actually are invested enough to read the instructions and send the test off actually do a better job of collecting the cells than the average groper. Uh, I mean doctor. Or nurse. Or whoever they subcontract smears out to on a day to day basis.

We have this weird 'people won't do it so you can't let them' super control from the people who are paid to make sure their job is never done. Science advisor not wanting people to wear masks until he says they are to wear them and ideally not wanting them to wear surgical.

They are telling people to run them through their washing machine on a hot wash.

That's what they tell cleaners and nurses and so on to do with their hospital uniforms.

Run them through at home on a hot wash.

I don't think they have any idea that they don't really pay their people enough for them to be doing that. People won't really do that.

Most people run cold washes only. People often don't get their washing machines hooked up to the hot taps. People can't afford to heat their houses. People often have old washing machines. People often have clothes that need washing. They're struggling to keep on top of their clothes washing. They got no time to run special washes for surgical masks. Or to be washing work uniform separately. Run then through the dryer they reckon. Or hang them up to dry. HOw long do things take to dry in humid houses or even humid out-doors? Who has an outdoors? Who has a dryer?

Someone asksk specifically about dettol?

He says 'hot wash through yoru washing machine at 60 degrees with your regular washing powder'.

really? does 'cold power' work in hot water? 'cold power' advertises as the power of a hot wash in cold water. So that means just shove it into your washing machine with your teatowels and your socks -- right?

He specifically says 'not dishwashing detergent'.

Why not?

Why not pour boiling water on it.

Wouldn't that be easier?

Why not take a bucket or a voimit bowl that you might have in your home health kit (your what??) and add a little... Dettol... Or dishwash... and hand-wash. Drying is still an issue... But what's wrong with hand-washing your face mask?

?

?

That seemed to be what the questions were getting at. A hot wash in washer is a pain in the *rs*.

But I don't suppose the science advisor has ever done his own washing in his life, so there's that.

I might be being unfair. It's the first time I saw him. I don't like our people the first time I see them. Takes time for them to grow on me. Maybe because it takes tiem for them to relax. It was his first tiem on air, I think. So... He just... You can see his emotional responses to things a bit. Leakage. And his emotional responses to me suggest that he isn't thinking about various other perspectives on things. That he hasn't thought about them. I can see a bit of what he thinks. ANd the things he isn't thinking of that he should be. But of course it's his job to advise the government about best science practice.

And he's come around (reluctantly) to accept that wearing face masks can help prevent community transmission when used in conjunction with other things like social distancing where possible and washing of hands.

I know... It's a very long sentance with multiple ideas and some caveats. It must be very difficult for him...

Because they are committed to 'no'.

They blurted out early on or decided for themselves in a non-epistempically responsible way 'no'.

And then all the cognitive effort that has gone into it ever after has been rationalising or justifying the `no'.

That's why it's important not to ask permission. Because you ask.

And instead of them coming up with the right answer so we can all get with the programme already and move on with our lives...

ANd instead of them saying 'I have to think abuot it befor emaking up my mind'.

And instead of them saying 'my initial impression is 'no' but I need to hear more to check if I still think 'no''.

And instead of them saying 'no' but being responsive to reason and being able to say 'huh, well now I change my mind'.

And instead of them saying 'I don't know, whatever you think. I'll make the decision that affects me and you make the decision that affects you and we can be free to be master of ourself'.

Instead of the vast variety of reasonable things for them to do...

They make the wrong decision on snap judgmeent and defend their way as the highway as the only way till death do they part.

I don't know why.
