To be honest, I think as a community we do pretty well. Right now we're going through a hard time, and it seems like it will be forever-- or is the last word. Maybe it is; maybe it isn't. But it doesn't negate all the good that's happened here and happens here-- unnoticed or unappreciated maybe.
What with all the recent disillusionment and anger or opposition, I think we've managed to accommodate a lot of people and different views without too much displaced rage and frustration.
I guess we can all talk ourselves into believing this place is no good and other posters are ill=tempered or uncaring. And I"m sure we all fall short of the ideal. Words are powerful and maybe we can bury ourselves with harsh words about the futility of what we're doing and what's in store. But I also think we can remake or rebuild what's been lost--if we want to.
Maybe we don't. Maybe we're ready to move on. But I still would like to see what's good about this place in the past and present given a little more respect and acknowledgement-- if not honor.

I've met too many great people to think otherwise.

Friends,
It is written here[...this place is honorable...].
When we think about what {honorable} could mean, some think of integrity. Some think of showing honesty. Some think of adhering to a code in a firm way, without discrimination, capreciousness or biasing the code in an arbitrary manner. Some think of honorable to be thought of as not deserving of criticism.
We talk about the integrity of a structure. Will it fall down from the way it is constructed? We talk about the integrity of a person as showing honesty. Will the person fall down if he/she is dishonest? The falling down is loosing credibility, as being seen as a charlatan, one that does not uphold their word, one that is a hypocrite.
Now the honorability of a community can be seen by the fruits of the members. For does not a good community, like a tree, that is honorable, bring forth good fruit? Are their lives changed to the better? Is life a priority? Or do the members talk about wanting death? Do the members grow toward the light of life or the darkness of death? Do members go from the state of a living death to the state of life and life more abundantly?
When you make your mind to think as to if a community is honorable, could you think upon those things? Now there is the potential for one to die suddenly from taking psychotropic drugs. And if you read here all of the stories that promote mind-altering drugs and you take them and feel good, what good would it do to feel good and loose your own life? Is that {honorable]?

I don't post much anymore because I am doing very well now. However, I believe babble has become a dictatorship with Dr. Bob at the helm. A lot of good people leave then and the ones that stay accept that. People just rebel and either get banned or give up and are molded to what Dr. Bob wants here.
I also know what the big problem is here but if I dare say it I will get banned. It is just not worth it to me. I believe there has been some crafty manipulation by some posters but yet they manage to slide under Dr. Bob's bans and come back to do what they have always done. It is strange that many more just don't see it. Anyway, it is what it is and if babble goes away I wouldn't lose any sleep over it. It may be what many here need in fact.

I think it is just awful that people should treat each other like this.

Thank you for the kind words. I hope for the best for you too.
I am upset about what has happened here. It seems many posts were deleted. That is not fair. If that is the case I would like to request that Dr. Bob remove every single post I have made from the archives. Basically, make it so I never existed here.
Take care my friend.
