I was wondering how lamictal is so far. What dose right now?
I thought I would give it another shot. Second day at just 6mg. Last time I went suicidal at 25mg, but in hindsight it could have been from the splitting my zyprexa dosage at the same time. We'll see.
I thought I remembered you had recently started lamictal and I was curious what dose you are at, what side effects so far, and if you feel anything from it yet.

Today I started 50mg. And so far just headaches but Clear Skies said she got them too. And I'm tired today but I think I've gone more places granted with Greg in the last three days. And functioned pretty well. I went to a large mall and bought a Birthday Gift for Wildcards oldest boy and took it to her house with Greg of couse. But boy was she surprised to see.me. Only the second time. She's a babbler mostly on Social. Love phillipa and Blueberry thanks for thinking of me.

Hi PJ
Headaches are common with Lamictal, especially at first. Glad you're ok :)

Glad it's helping Phillipa. My headaches seem to have gotten better given some time. Hope yours do too.

I know we talked about this before, but I STILL have vertigo and am starting to think it is the Lamictal. I take 200mg at night. As the day wears on, the "vertigo" gets worse. In the am it is not too bad, by 5pm I feel like I better not drive. PA still says inner ear infection but c'mon, for 2 months???? Does this SOUND like it could be from the Lamictal. Does this SOUND like splitting the dose would do it? What other *problems* might I incur with splitting the dose were I just to decide to try and do it on my own? Anyone???

I think dizzyness might be one othe side effects but finally one I'm not having. Love Phillipa. ps why not call you doc and tell him it must be the lamical? And sse if he thinks splitting the dose might help. Goggle lamictal. That's what I do.

I split my 200mg dose because taking it all at once made me so fatigued. Maybe splitting it would help you too? My pdoc figured I had nothing to lose, and it ended up helping a lot.

I took Lamictal and experienced profound dizziness, dizziness so bad I had to go to the emergency room. The physician said that it was the Lamictal and to discontinue it, which I did.

Obviously, I quit the Lamictal while I still had one left. The dizzines gets better as the brain adapts to having only one balance system, but the one is still dead. I keep wondering whether this has happened to anyone else on Lamictal. Seems a rather dangerous side effect if my experience were not just a fluke...
