I, too had recurring disabling dizziness on Lamictal. Upon testing, it was discovered that the balance system in one of my ears had died - dead, gone, not coming back. Obviously, I quit the Lamictal while I still had one left. The dizzines gets better as the brain adapts to having only one balance system, but the one is still dead. I keep wondering whether this has happened to anyone else on Lamictal. Seems a rather dangerous side effect if my experience were not just a fluke...
