When are you putting your patches on? Morning or night? I feel terrible in the mornings, but much better in the evenings. is there any relation to when the patch is applied? or is this just the nature of clinical depression and the eventual effect of the ativan over the course of the day?
anyone?

Katie, the official instructions are to keep in on all the time, changing it once a day, at any time. If you go to emsam.com there is a graph while shows a pretty steady release over 24 hours. I've tried to time it with less release at night, still haven't figured that out.
warm regards, Jake

I thought I sent a post here, I guess it didn't make it. Maybe it will show up later and there will be two posts from me. oh boy.
I put it on at night. After my shower. I didn't think it would matter as it is supposed to deliver a steady state of selegiline over a 24 hour period but sounds like it does affect those with insomnia. Maybe it is a side effect that passes with time. when I first started I had a really high pulse even though my bp came back to normal. Now my pulse is back to normal too.Donna
