I get many of my meds from a mail order pharmacy per my insurance. Yesterday, I received a med (for GERD, not brain) and the bottle was quite warm from being in my mailbox -- or it got warm in the USPS vehicle. Anyway, has anyone else had this problem?
If so, did you go ahead and take the med.? How warm is too warm for most meds? I emailed pharmacy and will hear from them on Monday or Tuesday. I have used the med., and haven't felt well -- but it might not be the med making me feel worse. I think I will take the med at a time when I don't take any others to see if I can tell anything.

I have had Fed-ex put my package in my glass door right where the sun was shining. When I opened the package the bottles where quite warm, but I don't think this would be a problem unless you stored them in the heat for a prolonged period of time.

I know of someone who conducted research with UPS trucks about the work conditions for the drivers. I do not have access to the results or the paper, but I do remember her saying that the interior of the trucks reach 120 degrees F. That's why the drivers often where shorts and have the open panels in the cab.
I know meds are not supposed to be stored at higher temps. I would guess that a one time condition of higher temps would be much less likely to cause the med to break down or alter, but I'm only making an educated guess.
Glad you called the pharmacy. Let us know what they said, please?
