Hi All
I am starting a new diet, which involves drinking a couple protein shakes a day. It has a large amount of l-glutamic acid(3989mg) and l-aspartic acid 1294mg. Do you think this will lower the effectiveness of my Adderall? Thanks for any info.

This is pure speculation, but as for glutamate (glutamic acid), it's an excitatory neurotransmitter, so if anything it's more likely to *increase* the effects of Adderall, I'd say.
Secondly, one of the four amphetamine salts in Adderall is amphetamine aspartate (aka amphetamine aspartic acid). So I imagine that since it's used as a base for one of the salts in Adderall, it has little or no effect on the effectiveness of Adderall.
Keep in mind, this is just an educated guess!
This is the end of the thread.
