I once went to a job interview, and.....

upon stating that I had my master's degree, the interviewer stated "how nice."
and I think that there is a very real difference in deciding what course of study you will choose
it can be based on
1. what is in demand and what is paying well
2. what your interests are
...maybe I just should've gone with the herd
