Not in my case. Clonazepam most definitely made the symptoms of Celexa withdrawal worse.
I had been taking 60mg citalopram for 5 years and was not switching to a new SSRI.
Clonazepam also lists depression, fatigue and most importantly high potential for dependency as common side effects. All were problems in my case.
I wouldn't dare give advice since your case is different from mine, but I will say that steering away from benzodiazepines as a long-term treatment was a very good decision for me.
