How best to taper off Lunesta

I need to come off of 2 mg Lunesta which I've been taking for a few years.

Could anyone share any advice or experiences?

I was wondering if a switch/taper to Rozerem might work, after which I could taper off that.

I realize pharmacologically it works differently, but I can't take Remeron or TCA's and prefer not to take an antipsychotic or benzo.
