Rett,
I am currently off of my med coctail. It started with 3 ADs and a stimulant. I am now down to 2 and still going strong.
My advice is to taper as slowly as possible which means cutting 10% of the current dose every 3 to 6 weeks. Your brain needs time to adapt to the neurochemical changes of withdrawal.
If you can't stick to 10%, make as small a cut as possible. Wait closer to 6 weeks for the next cut.
I also take a multivitamin, fish oil capsules, magnesium and a super greens food to counter the withdrawal symptoms. My diet has greatly improved but still can get better.
Since you are taking Trazadone which I assume you take for sleep, I strongly encourage the magnesiuam. By taking it before I got to bed, I have had minimal problems with insomnia in spite of tapering the Remeron, which I take at night before bed.
I am not a medical professional but am giving advice based on my experiences and other people who have been through withdrawal.
Unfortunately, most doctors taper people way too quickly in my opinion. They don't do it out of bad intentions but because that is what they know. So that is something to be aware of.
