I remember when you started the zyprexa weaning process. You've done great to get this far.

I've been in your shoes. I think for me it was a lot tougher than you. I had no other meds on board and just sweated it out, literally taking every 5 minute segment of a day one at a time.

All of your withdrawal symptoms do go away, except maybe for the weight loss. My zyprexa tremors subsided very slow and subtle. I noticed improvement in a month, but didn't have totally calm fingers, neck, knees, for maybe 3 months. Improvements happened so gradual that I could not see it on a daily basis. But it did happen and was happening all along. Sleep issues improved in a couple weeks, really good at a month. Appetite improved about the same, better in a couple weeks, baseline normal eating in a month. This was after 8 years on 5mg. All I can say is hang in there because it does get better. Some days better, some days worse, but with steady progress forward, kind of like 2 steps forward and one step back, then 2 more forward, and so on.

Weight went from 142 to 125 and now I cannot get it to budge from 125 no matter how much I eat.
