Desipramine

What is the best schedule to go off of 100 mg. of Desipramine. I am having too many side effects that I don't like. I don't know what to do. My pdoc is opposed, and I had ECT last month and don't want to get really depressed again. I am looking for a new pdoc, but I need to do something in the meantime,
