I came off 15mgs of Lexapro in about three weeks, I also came off 30mgs of Mirtazapine (Remeron in America) cold turkey at another time. I can honestly say, the longer you play around with these drugs and believe they are either 1; doing something for you, or 2; hard to come off, the longer the pharmaceutical industry has its greedy claws in you. Yes they where both tough to come off for a very short peroid, Mirtazapine was far worse for me but Lexapro was much harder to get on never mind get off!!! All I can say is: 'take it on the chin my friend', get off them both, they will NOT help you, they will only numb you, you need to feel your emotion, not suppress it. No doubt your doctor is getting a nice commission for prescribing this poison as mine is. The fear of coming off this crap is a million times worse that actually doing it. Eat good food, get decent sleep, exercise, stay off the booze and drugs, you'll be o.k. dude. Don't let the bastards own your soul.
