Hi.

How do you plan to go about tapering?

I ended up opening the capsules and dividing them up into fractional doses. The smallest dosage form is 20mg. That is too much to use as a tapering dose.

It is counterproductive to skip days. The short half-life of Cymbalta almost guarantees that you will suffer withdrawal symptoms for an extended period of time.

I to agree that medication in certain situations should be used carefully and sparenly, THE MEDICATION SHOULD INCLUDE WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU STOP TAKING IT, NOT JUST SIDE EFFECTS WHILE TAKING IT. Life stimulation has been the best medicine for me. Now my Dr. refuses to take me off it. so here I go tappering off (first day) sw*shy and dizzy and sleepy. Thank You for your support!
