I had horrible itching while ON the Cymbalta which is why I have been TRYING to discontinue it. I was already on an antihistamine (Zyrtec), and I took Benadryl on top of that. Then the doctor added Singulair and could stop the Benadryl.

As for the nausea... going down very very very slowly off the Cymbalta helped, adding back a couple granules if the withdrawal symptoms get too bad help with the nausea. When I was puking non-stop, Lorazepam knocked me out so I could take some Cymbalta granules without water and it work and I could finally keep down water again.
