Hi Sassy.

That sounds like the best way to go about withdrawal from Effexor. Congratulations on the good work! Another option I've found helpful for withdrawal from other meds is to get the liquid form (if it's available) and buy a very finely graduated medicine dropper. Take fewer and fewer milliliters over many weeks. After each drop in dose, stay on that dose for at least a few days before lowering it again.
