That sometimes depends on how quickly you came off of it. Did you stop Effexor abruptly (cold turkey) or did you taper?

Some people report the withdrawal effects of Effexor as lasting for weeks after they have discontinued taking it.

How long have you been off Effexor? What are your withdrawal symptoms?
