In reply to Wellbutrin withdrawal, posted by Astoria38 on July 5, 2005, at 21:00:29

I live in a remote community, where there are a few Wellbutrin prescribers. A friend, Roberta, had been taking it for about 13 years. She quit cold-turkey, despite my protests. The change in her has been profound and distressing, to say the least. Fever is her main complaint, even the F.D.A. website states that it is one of the big problems with withdrawal. I am trying to read up on Deprex or other alternatives for her. Being in a society means people watch out for their neighbors, especially if they are frail. I will keep you up to date in her progress. Please let me know how you are doing. Support is a good thing, even if it is from a stranger.
