How long until I notice Zoloft withdrawal effects?

I have been on 50mg of Zoloft for a little over 3 years. I've finally decided to go off of the medication. Last night I started by taking 25mg, and will continue to do that until I feel ready to stop it completely.

My question is: How long does it usually take to feel the effects of a lesser dosage? Personally, I've sometimes forgotten to take my Zoloft for 3-4 days and still felt fine.
