Until the last couple days ( when I took small doses of Klonopin ) I had been off Klonopin for about 6 weeks and off Cymbalta about a month.
> What else can you describe about your experiences?tension in my neck, jaw, muscle above my upper lip, temple, mostly focussed on my left side -- I've had these symptoms for years -- they're just worse now.
some dizziness, but not extreme. Some disequilibrium if I move my head too quickly.
wake up at night sometimes with a start, but I can get back to sleep.
a hard time focussing, but that isn't anything new either. The cymbalta seemed to be wearing off, which is one reason I decided to quit it and pursue exercise and diet.
small "twinges" in my forehead.
slight pressure in my ears.
a hard time doing smooth movements, especially with my left arm ( jittery, tense, jerky movements ). Again, this isn't entirely new either, just worse.
Some night sweats. Not as much any more. I had them more while on, and coming off Cymbalta.

No
> Have you been taking any other medications? If so, when did you start taking them?
No other meds
I guess upon further reflection most of my symptoms are mild to moderate symptoms of anxiety that I've experienced before -- except for the orgasmic convulsions.
It's just weird that things appeared to go so smoothly after stopping Klonopin. Maybe having both drugs in my system was a good mix. I do remember feeling the best when I had started cymbalta and hadn't tapered down quite as much on the klonopin.
I am thinking about trying tryptophan and doing a slow taper off of klonopin. I live in Minneapolis and the Health Recovery Center ( run by author of Depression Free Naturally ) is here. I think I will go. I have super-high deductible health insurance. That's what had been delaying me, 'cause I'll need to pay out of pocket for awhile and I got recently laid off work.
I think that I've done enough self-education in the past few weeks to feel like I know enough to go talk to somebody and not feel like I'm a total guinea pig.
