Withdrawing from prozac can be hard, though not as hard as other meds. I feel it is smoother than withdrawing from other meds.

Here's a trick you can use. When you start getting withdrawals, empty a capsule of prozac into a glass of orange juice. Stir it up good. Drink just a portion of it, perhaps 1/4 or 1/2. Save the rest in the refrigerator for the next time withdrawals kick in. Each time, try to drink a little bit less than the time before.

This will provide almost instant relief to oncoming withdrawals, and lengthen the weening period so that the whole process ends up being a lot less painful.

Make sure and stir it real good each time before sipping because the prozac will settle to the bottom. The cocktail will stay good in the fridge for at least 10 days.
