Cymbalta vs. Effexor withdrawal?

Hi,
Anyone have experiences with coming off of Effexor and Cymbalta? I had a terrible time coming off of Eff., Zoloft, and Paxil. I'm slipping into a depression now and am thinking of taking Cymbalta. but I'm frightened of the w/drawals. Is Cymbatla as bad as effexor? What is the differences between these two? Isn't Cym the new Effexor?
