Hi Kathryn - It's been months since I've read or posted, but I decided last night to try getting off the Lex and seeing how I do, so I looked to the withdrawal board for ideas and saw your post! I think we started on the Lex around the same time so it's interesting we're going off of it around the same time too! Your post was over a week ago. How are you feeling now?

Last summer I went from 20mg gently down to 5mg, which is where I am now. It took me about 5 weeks. I went every other day 20 then 10 for a couple of weeks, then back and forth between 10 & 5. It worked and I didn't really feel much - some headaches, a bit of nausea now & then. Once I went down to 5mg, I stuck there for a month or 2. I was still soooo sleepy, even on the 5mg, so my doctor gave me a scrip for Wellbutrin. That was in October. I'm still really sleepy all the time, even with the WB, so I am going to try to go off of the Lex completely to see if that's really what's making me so fatigued.

I'm very curious to hear how you're doing!

I'm tapering off Lexapro - from 20 mgs to 10 mgs and feel a little bit out of it after 4 days at 10 mgs. Is there anyone here who has done it this way who can tell me what to expect in a couple of weeks? Thanks!
