here but not really there.
Functional! Good word - doesn't excuse much though!
So - another night - same old .. same old.
Another day - soberly spent but foot tapping and lip biting. 5pm looms and agitation sets in. Somehow the body knows the sun is setting!! Must drink!!!
It is now 11.40pm. I am marginally sober. Only because I am diluting my wine with soda water. Not normally, or usually done. But who am I fooling? Myself perhaps.
No need to respond.
