Hey, that's what makes us humans and not super powers, right?
When I finally screwed up enough courage to tell my spouse about slipping, he was very sympathetic, and I sobbed for hours from sheer relief. It is so very hard to carry a secret for any length of time, especially if you feel particularly guilty about it. Don't beat yourself up over a slip.
It doesn't mean that we can't succeed in staying sober.
