I know I still would have survived without getting the sodium bicarbonate. To be serious about dying, I may have to forgo the overdose route.

Suicidal ideation is quite a distraction. I understand.

It's anonymous email. Dr. Bob has set up a server so that if you enable babblemail, you can receive anonymous emails from other babblemail users. You'll get a regular email, but it will just say "Babblemail from Shy_Girl" or "Babblemail from chemist" or whomever. Dr. Bob has no record of the contents of the email, only that one was sent.

There is no other identifying information, about who the sender really is. You can't even reply directly. You have to open, cut and paste (if you want to include parts of the email you're replying to), edit, and send your own babblemail (the link to do so is part of the babblemail itself). Once again, your outgoing message will carry no identifying information, other than your Babble username (unless you share something more personal in the message itself).

There's a little box to tick on the babblemail page if you want a copy of your babblemail sent to you, as well. Sometimes I forget exactly what I said in earlier conversations, and having an archive copy helps refresh my memory.

To enable babblemail, you have to modify your registration. Go to https://dr-bob.securesites.com/cgi-bin/pb/signup.pl

Note, that's an https site, or an encrypted secure site.

Go down to "update registration" and enter your username and password. You'll go to another secure page, that let's your turn babblemail on.

You'll know if your or someone else's babblemail is on because the username shows in blue (a hyperlink to babblemail) in the "Posted by...." header at the top of every post. If you ever want to get to the Babblemail page, just click any blue name in a message, and you can change the recipient's name to another name if you wish.

Happy to.

Ya, you can survive until then. Why don't you go turn on that babblemail, and we can have a chat together. Tell me what you're studying, and so on. I'm also a good tutor.
