wow..just read all your posts and have to say that you guys raise some highly intelligent questions. red wine for me please, Merlot, if possible, but lived in Europe for 4 years, so have "enjoyed" them all. and only red wine. no wine, no drink. Wierd, huh?? and i know after the first glass if it's going to be "a night to regret." i should recognize those signs by now, but i choose not to. and yes, hangovers are hell and i don't have any other meds coursing through my brain. i can only imagine what AD's, benzos, or mood stabilizers would translate into the next morning. took Paxil for awhile but honestly..it only made me feel like drinking more...took away my fear. dropped it, but still have the fondness for red wine....maybe if i tried to stop overthinking this...yeah, right..
