Sharing and tweeting might lead Facebook and Twitter users to the many thoughtful and intelligent posts here, and then they might join Babble and contribute new perspectives and energy.

I have mixed feelings about us-them thinking. If new Babblers contribute their perspectives and energy, that would of course benefit old Babblers. It's nice to stick together, but it's nice to be open, too.
