I had insomnia for a good year and a half. Like most people I tried every herb, tea and drug out there to find some relief. Nothing really helped at all. I had extreme anxiety from not sleeping and my insomnia went from onset insomnia to being able to fall a sleep but waking up 5 times a night.
I started seeing a sleep specialist who specialized in sleep resrtiction. I had very limited success with the sleep restriction alone. I was so worked up that I could only stay in bed for six hours that I would only get 2-3 hours of sleep. I was willing to try anything..
I stumbled on the sleeps-tracks website and went for it. Its a bit pricey but after 2 months of using it, worth every penny.
So what I did was use the sleep tracks in conjunction with the sleep restriction. Sleep tracks is a program that uses binural beats. I was really skepticle at first but It really works..in about 1 week I was sleeping a solid 5 1/2 hours strait. I am in my second month and sleep about 6 1/2 hours a night. I am a little tired still but nothing like before.
I normally dont post on boards but when I was trying to find some reviews on the sleep-tracks I could not find any information. I figured I would let everyone know about it. I definately would give it a try.
