I can't remember ever feeling that way, but if I did I'd likely express the urge in words rather than in actions. I'm a lousy mimic.

My therapist doesn't mirror me, I don't think. He does sort of the opposite. He sometimes visibly puts himself into the body language corresponding with the mood he'd like to have or would like to convey. So if I fold my arms and cross my legs and look away, and he reads my body language as anger and maybe feels tense as a result, he's more likely to lean back, stretch out his legs, and in general express a relaxed and open receptive body language.
