A therapy relationship is like any other. It's natural to grieve the loss of it and long to see the other person again. If the grief persists too long, you might want to think about whether you were really ready to quit.
Do you think you were? Had you accomplished all you needed to accomplish? You said you both agreed on a termination date. Whose idea was it initially? Did it feel right and natural?
Many therapists nowdays leave the door open, so to speak. So that if your circumstances change, or you find you need a tuneup, you can contact them again for more therapy. And I doubt most therapists would mind an occasional card or letter updating them, although you probably won't get an answer.
