More people than I would have imagined think about it, I believe. At 50+ years, I've done a lot of listening, and the most unlikely people question.
It is my belief that life can't be figured out. We can only choose how we will live it.
I have chosen to live my life with as much kindness to others as I can muster. I try to make other's lives better, sometimes giving someone a place to live during a difficult time for them, sometimes with just a kind word and a smile.
Do you think it's a side effect of being depressed that you're thinking about it? I think obsession of any kind is NOT comfortable - an understatement! Depression brings all sorts of monsters out from under the bed. I for one begin to hate myself, and it takes all I have to convince myself that I am not the hideous thing I think I am, but rather depressed. I tell myself: that's the depression talking".
Hope this helps.
