I'm fighting the urge to call him and tell him I just can't stand this and I'll do my best to work through it with him.

I may be being unfair to him in what I'm saying. I'm trying to objectively report what actually happened, although I'm leaving out some of the parts I'm embarassed about for myself. But maybe my viewpoint is so warped that I can't be objective.

It's hard to know if you're really being fair to someone else.
