Whoa- this is so cool!
I wish I could participate in this study.

it's in the NYTimes magazine this morning, and is called 'My Pain, My Brain"
Wouldn't it be fantastic to be able to determine how to modulate the limbic and cortical circuits to affect one's depression, mania, addiction etc.? If only fMRI weren't so expensive, I think it has a lot of promise.
