I can contact her by her voice mail she has at her office. If it is an after hours emergency, I can call her answering service and they will try to locate her. E-mail is something she has not implemented into her work and I don't think she ever will. She is fine with me leaving a message on her voice mail and trust me, we use that system a lot some weeks. And she's usually pretty good to return my call as soon as she has a min. She know's how important it is to me to respond to my call.
I would talk to your T and come up with a solution so you know what you can do when faced with the situation. It's a relief to know the plan before you need to use it.
