Hey there happyflower,
Whatdya mean never mind? Now I HAVE TO respond
:-)
I haven't read my old stuff about therapy. I guess I don't post too much about my T, but it's sort of like this sacred kind of relationship for me - I value it so much, but I am continuously frustrated by it (go figure).
Whatever feelings you have or had whether you're imagining things or not it's a good to talk about it with your T -in my opinion (tough but perhaps productive).I hope you didn't feel criticized for stuff you talked about regarding your T. I certainly don't know what your situation is, but I know that the therapy relationship is an intense one often and thus the reason for the strict boundaries. It is the place where you hopefully can explore your feelings without censure - whatever they may be, whatever your reactions may be within and outside of the therapy hour. Whatever it is, it's hard to proceed in any kind of direction until you shed some light. A therapist has some serious responsibilities though- to uphold some serious boundaries for YOUR benefit - no expectations you know - so it's all about you without the complications. I say this all - and believe me when I say this - with a thorough albeit completely individual understanding of how difficult it can be to trust someone, care about someone, need someone in a largely one sided relationship, holy crap can that suck.
Whatever happens I wish you always much happiness happyflower :-)
