we must have posted at the same time.
> I didn't feel at all disappointed with your post. That would require some sort of expectation, I think, and I didn't have one. Just a hope you would feel like telling us...nothing more :-)I think It was me, I was feeling down about it and I didnt feel like I was sounding all that upbeat about it.
> Well, thinking back over 4 years, I've had the *first session* experience 7 times! Never counted before....wow! Now, only 2 of those Ts didn't stay my T. because it was a bad fit - one male, one female. With all the other changes, it was because it was a military clinic, where T. left to go to a new base, retire from the military, or in one case, deploy to Iraq. So....don't freak about that number 7!

> Anyway...I think this sounds about right. Mine were all a bit differnt differnt, yet had a few things in common. Draining, weird, kinda good but kinda not...all that. I think spending 2 hours with you is impressive. No one did that with me.
Yeah, 2 hours is along time. He seemed very intererested and wanted to know a lot of info. His interest is good I guess, maybe it scared me.> I'm proud of you for going - sticking our heads in the sand and saying, "oh....never mind," feels a lot easier sometimes. It IS a lot easier, sometimes. But usually only for the short term.
Thanks :-) I do like th easy way at the time lol
> I think gg is wise...give it around 6 sessions or so. You know, I HATED my former T. (pdoc) when we first met. Thought he was arrogant, too quiet and mysterious, annoying, infuriating. This is a man I now love dearly, who kept in email touch with me for 4 months after a painful termination until I found my current T. (actually, I still email him every couple months and he's very warm and responsive)
thats so nice. i will stick it out. Im not sure if I will do 1/week or 1 every other week, Im booked for next week.
> Anyway...I'm rambling. Hang in and share with us. With all these awesome Babblers, we may have just about seen and heard it all! You can do it, even though it IS hard.:-)
