For whatever reason, me trying to mentally picture him having this snobby attitude you describe toward the Internet made me LOL. Really, it's just too funny. Still laughing.
> But seriously, if you guys trust your therapists, I'd bring them posts or ideas from the board. Some of our deepest and most personally effective sessions have come from posts or ideas that have no direct bearing on my situation, yet shed light on something about me that I might not even realize. That's an excellent point. I think I trust him enough now..I think. I would bring in something I've posted, even about him, I believe. I guess mostly I was flashing back to threads where I went on for 6 paragraphs re: old T., describing him physically, along with the accompanying "it's getting hot in here," - type remarks from me. {blush} That I don't think I need old T. reading. Him knowing I had a crush on him, and a bit of erotic transference, from time to time, is one thing. I was in control of precisely what words were used and which details he got to know. On Babble, I'm been, let's say, waaaay too honest.
> We won't mention his conviction that I am a bit self righteous and preachy. :P We haven't worked on that one much.
Uhhh, wait a minute. Self righteous and preachy needs work? Huh?! Say it ain't so! Oh my, I'll be in therapy ever so much longer than I thought if we have to go there... :-)
