That's so great that it worked out the way it should! How often does that happen? Obviously he's realized that he was not only wrong, but doing something illegal. And it's good to know that once he figured that out, it was important to him to fix it. And best of all, that it shook him up to think about you leaving over this. Sounds like he's learned a lot of valuable lessons here!
