I know my face is usually an open book. I'm sure, in fact, I know that I have had that shocked look on my face when clients have told me something. I think it's usually accompanied by an empathic statement, or at least a statement that I haven't had a similar experience so that is why I am reacting that way...

Would that soften it a bit? Or do I need to work on my poker face? Although part of my style is to provide real, honest reactions to my clients, so hmmmmm. Something to think about.

Thanks for your thoughts.
