My therapist and I have a great Professional relationship and she is helping me through a lot of my issues. I have had days like everyone else where Im really down and I have a lot I can talk about in therapy and then other days where im feeling perfect and nothing is wrong and I dont have anything to talk about. Whenever this happens...I always feel that therapy is almost over for me. But then again, I know my therapist doesnt feel the same. Just last week she asked me what I wanted to be focusing on this year and I have no idea. I dont know of the different therapies out there that are used..(the different techniques). She did mention SandPlay therapy. This is something that intriques me..anyone know anything about this? All I really know is that you make things in the sand...Is this an emotional process?? Im clueless. I have no idea how long my therapy is supposed to last and I just wonder how therapist know when it is time to stop OR do they let their patients be the one to decide????
