Hey. Never, ever, when dealing with gov't bureaucracies, local, state or federal, ASSUME that the individuals with whom you speak know exactly of what they speak. Double and triple check everything... within reason.This is brand new info for me, and I'm curious if you've followed up by checking govt' websites, calling, etc. Do you have a letter on paper from your state Medicaid dept?
I'm in Maryland, also have Medicaid as a secondary insurance, and am a tad concerned, altho' at the moment, I'm not using any Medicaid MCO (managed care org.) covered "p-docs" and therapists.
