Dinah gave you wonderful advice. I just wanted to add that once the immediate crisis is over and you wish to stay involved- request that she asks her therapist for a plan- who to call first when she feels that way- (her shrink or therapist), a hotline, a friend in her area and maybe you. I had mine in a form of a contract (sometimes it works-depends on the person). Best of luck, judy
