so there's a Harvard Scholarship with a value on it. so a student from new zealand can go to Harvard and study social change or something like that, it was. it's a jacinda arden scholarship. a masters. in leadership or something.
so... i can just see what happens... student gets scholarship. goes to Harvard. writes a masters thesis. Harvard says 'oh nonononononono you are not done yet, you are not done yet, at all, you are required to re-enrol for another year and pay us another year's worth of fees or you won't get your Harvard Degree'.
that's what New Zealand would do -- right? That's what they did to me. It would only be fair if Harvard did that to a new ZEalander (maybe Jacinda's baby) down the track -- to remind New Zealand of what New Zealand allowed to happen to me at the University of Waikato.
Fairs fairs fairs fair doing business with New Zealand.
Or... There's a delightful kid who got all the opportunities at some public school in NZ who got Early Admission to Harvard without an offer of funding. so she's paying for a 4 year degree at Harvard.
And in 4 years time Harvard goes 'you thought you were done but you owe us another year of fees because we decided not to pass you and so you need to take some more courses and hand over more money or you never get your Harvard Degree'.
Fairs fairs fair fair when it comes to how to do business with New Zealand.
I mean... That's not any differnt from how we treat our international students. We even arrange for them to be raped and involuntarily detained in psych institutions under conditions of torture called 'crazy' and send home with no Degrees.
Why would we expect the international community to treat our own precious precious children of our elite official any less?
What do we f*ck*ng expect?
Please tell me, new zealand.
where's my f*ck*ng degree??
