Getting a different take on Putin is interesting. I think he is completely antidemocratic, but a good friend of mine says only fascism will be able to deal with global warming, so who knows. I'll be dead in twenty years (on the optimistic side) and no longer registered to vote. Siberia will become the world's breadbasket, and Putin will still be president. But he is a hydrocarbon oligarch....
