Just 30 years behind but evidently punching above your weight, as is so important to the political caste. Our Pacific Solution has been widely praised even in the US. I think everything is privatised that can easily be.

Alexandria Ocasia Cortez (?) stated that the money for health care and education could come from the war machine. The votes for the defence budget in the Senate are depressing.
On the navy/water front, I often listen to Lawrence Wilkerson ....... he speaks about the practical problems of sea level rises for naval shipyards and stuff.
Trump is no fascist, I don't think, his nature notwithstanding, but when people realise they have been screwed yet again it truly might be a question of "Socialism or Barbarism", and by socialism I mean no more than a New Deal for our times. (I don't know whether to pick Rosa Luxembourg or Istvan Meszaros. Maybe stick with tradition? I have never read her, but it seems true now.)
