Why do we choose people to infantilize us?

I am for direct democracy. That is actually a choice you can make when electing in Germany. But it never gets more than 5% of votes so i dont even have to go to vote.

Why do people want to be infantilized? Please dear politicians dont what YOU want, do what we want. oh please! Hahaha
