No, I notice no difference in my psychiatric treatment quality after the ACA went into effect. None. Then again, I dont use ACA purchased health insurance. I use a company provided group health insurance that is not part of the ACA thing.

North Carolina opted out of the ACA, btw. If you are indigent in this state, the ACA makes little to no difference, to my understanding. You have to be administratively adjudicated as formally disable, or be on welfare to get Medicaid in NC.

I HAVE noticed a dramatic decrease in the quality of my medical care, however. For example my insurance has not paid for brand name Zestril this year...Ive been on brand name Zestril for almost a decade now. I dont use the generic lisinopril.

Also, Ive noticed just a general increased cost of stuff on the medical side. And people I know that have no medical issues or none that are significant, complain to me about the ACA a lot.

The ACA is not popular in the state of NC.
